Madden 10 Battles Take an EPIC Turn

PS3 Madden 10's pulse-pounding, hard-rocking soundtrack is another element that gives the game an added kick. These soundtracks have become such a major part of the sports video games that the game just wouldn't be the same without it. PS3 Madden 10's soundtrack brings the right level of intensity, as well as a great mix of newer and older songs ("older" being a relative term here, of course). If you're not convinced, check out PS3 Madden 10's roster of songs: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

If that ain't enough to sell you on PS3 Madden 10, maybe a history lesson will help. Sure, it's questionable to praise today's games simply by damning yesterday's. But when you look at the old versus the new, you can truly appreciate the epic nature of PS3 Madden 10. It makes sense that at the beginning of the video game console revolution, there was a huge demand for football video games. The downside was, the gaming technology wasn't quite up to speed yet, so video football fanatics had to settle, in a big way. In any ads or promos, the manufacturers of this one insisted "all the excitement" of the genuine article. And since it was the only game in town, this is what passed for the gridiron. The football players look like blocky little robots. That's just a harsh fact. As crude-looking as that picture is, it's even worse when you see the game in action. Put too many characters on screen at once with these older games, and every character started flashing and flickering. There's just no way to try an explain how lousy the sound was. Things were so limited that a scrolling screen was out of the question. Within a couple years, things would pick up slightly, with a competing console developing a football video game. This next one was a valiant attempt to make a more realistic football video game. But it was still nothing too impressive.

The video game world was certainly jazzed when that was released, but it wasn't exactly the gold standard. More time would pass in order for that to transpire. This next one, coming out for the next generation of game consoles at the end of the 80s, was a sensation, and still beloved today. For many years, this was the greatest football video game. Not hard to understand why that caught on - they were the first to really bring a more comprehensive simulation of football to the video game console. Everything - sound, visuals - got such a major upgrade that this was the final word in sports video games. And given that they're making a new online version, there's still a following for it. But even that one can't compete with PS3 Madden 10. Take a look at it, after taking in all of those older games.

As you can see, football video games have evolved exponentially since their first appearance. But there's no purpose in ragging on the early games. We've made our point. The older football video games served a purpose, and set the stage for bigger, better sports video games. PS3 Madden 10 is in a whole different stratosphere than its predecessors, and for that, hardcore gamers have every reason to be stoked. But it's not just the hardcore gamers that are loving this one - the critics have weighed in, and they give it the thumbs up. Reviews for PS3 Madden 10 are filled with praise such as "realistic and enjoyable." No shocker - EA Sports has scored another touchdown with PS3 Madden 10.

No doubt, PS3 Madden 10 is the real sport of champions, and don't let some douchebag tell you otherwise. Not to disparage the other PlayStation sports video games - they're all pretty excellent in their own right, but PS3 Madden rules the playing field. Hardcore gamers hold this one in the highest of regard. This is the game for the real men, not just the little kids, when you go toe-to-toe for some serious money. PlayStation Madden 10 aficionados now get to face off for big bucks. The victory - and your opponent's cash - will be in your hands, once you know the score in PS3 Madden 10.
